Process of Applying Online Visa for Vietnam and type of Entries

There are two main types of Visas to apply to visit Vietnam. You can apply through online application or through Vietnam Embassy. To explore Vietnam you can choose tourist or Business visas options, as per your visit requirements. Compared to apply for Vietnam visa through a Embassy, online visa application is a quick and easy way, as well as fully supported and recognized by the Vietnam Immigration Department. After getting “Visa Approval letter”, you need to submit necessary documents required for “Visa Stamp Procedure” at Vietnam Airport.
At the Visa Counter of Vietnam Airports travelers need to submit all documents such as Visa Approval Letter, Entry & Exit Form, Passport Photos and stamping fee. Vietnamese “Visa-on-Arrival” fee includes both the approval letter fee and stamping fee at Vietnam airport. As per the fees structure of 2018, the stamping fee is $25 for single entry visa (both 1 month and 3 month type) and $50 for multiple entry visa (both 1 month and 3 month type).
 
Documents required for Multiple entries for online Visa Vietnam:-
1. A copy of visa pre-approval letter
2. Your passport
3. Passport must have six months of validity beyond visitors stay in the Vietnam with one blank passport page required for stamp.
4. 2 Passport-size recent colored photographs, not more than six months old.
5. Vietnamese visa application form
6. Visa Stamping fee (Vietnamese Dong VND or U.S. dollars)

After getting Online Visa to Vietnam, travellers enter and exit Vietnam at the three international airports in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.

In these days Vietnam “Visa on Arrival” (VOA) is the most popular choice for international travellers presently. Vietnam (VOA) is exactly the same as a visa issued by any Vietnamese Embassy / Consulate, with the same limitations and conditions attached to its use. There is only one difference that “Visa on Arrival”  received at the Vietnam airport and visitors don't need to go to the Embassy/Consulate. This kind of visa is available for entering the country by air only. It took only 2 working days for normal service and 30 minutes for emergency case to receive Vietnam visa approval letter via email.
